Akeneo is seeking a talented Product Designer to contribute to our dynamic and diverse team in Nantes.

As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our comprehensive product suite. Your work will directly impact the quality and usability of our products, from contributing to the product vision to designing apps that seamlessly connect our ecosystem with external platforms.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead product design activities for your dedicated squad, ensuring a smooth design journey for all stakeholders involved, from discovery to delivery.
  • Conduct comprehensive user research, incorporating insights from User Researchers to inform your design decisions.
  • Collaborate with your squad and users/customers to create sketches, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the implementation of designs meets high-quality standards and delivers an exceptional user experience.
  • Engage in co-design sessions with your squad and Design peers, providing and soliciting constructive feedback to enhance design outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of our Design System to maintain design consistency and elevate the user experience across our product suite.
  • Promote Akeneo's design capabilities internally and externally by actively participating in initiatives that raise the profile of our design expertise.

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in UX/UI/Product design with a strong background in qualitative research and co-creation methods.
  • Experience in B2B design, preferably within a software company.
  • Fluency in English is essential, as the majority of our customers and colleagues communicate in English.
  • Proficiency in Figma and a willingness to embrace change and growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
