About the Role

Aperam Alloys is a leading global player in nickel alloys and special stainless steels. Our Imphy site, with 800 employees, is dedicated to developing, transforming, and marketing various product formats, including cold-rolled strips, plates, ingots, bars, wires, and more, in numerous metallurgical grades.

Our products cater to demanding applications such as aeronautics, automotive, and electrical engineering. To manufacture these products, we utilize various industrial facilities located in Europe. Each facility dedicated to a product constitutes an industrial route.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and optimize industrial routes to enhance efficiency.
  • Coordinate projects, including the development of new routes and the improvement of existing ones.
  • Lead development projects (new products) and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with the marketing and development department.
Key Missions
  • Ensure the creation of technical files for new route construction, including issue identification, risk analysis, test plans, resources, and costs.
  • Establish industrial routes and define strategies for their use.
  • Evaluate the economic performance of industrial routes on a monthly basis, focusing on scrap rates, metal balance, productivity, shrinkage, and costs.
  • Establish performance standards, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • You hold an engineering degree with a materials specialization.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position in the industry.
  • You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English and French.
  • You are an entrepreneur with a change management culture.
  • You are a strong communicator with the ability to make your projects adhere to your target.
  • You are rigorous, methodical, autonomous, and attentive, especially to customers.
  • You have knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO TS 16949, EN 9100, ISO IEC 17025).
  • You are familiar with quality tools: FMEA, PPAP, 5P, 8D, cause tree.
  • You enjoy piloting, developing, and implementing projects with high added value.
