Role Overview

The Educational Equality Institute is seeking a dedicated French Language Educator to join our team and contribute to our mission of empowering disadvantaged girls through education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans to enhance the language skills of our students.
  • Conduct online or in-person language classes for students, providing personalized feedback and guidance.
  • Evaluate students' progress and collaborate with other volunteers and staff members to develop effective teaching strategies.
  • Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve their language learning goals.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops provided by TEEI to enhance your teaching skills.

Requirements

  • Experience in teaching or tutoring language learners, with a strong focus on language development.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans, with a focus on student-centered learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Passion for helping underprivileged communities through education, with a strong commitment to social justice and equality.
  • Fluent in French, with a strong proficiency in both spoken and written language.
  • Good level of spoken/written English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and students.
