Job Summary

As a Lead UX Designer at KPIT, you will be responsible for driving the design activity for key projects. This role requires a strong understanding of user research, interaction design, and prototyping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct user research to inform design decisions.
  • Lead key projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to evolve our design skills.
  • Collaborate with customers throughout the project lifecycle, from workshops to deliverables.
  • Demonstrate expertise in design, particularly in information architecture, interaction design, and prototyping.
  • Advocate for end-users and communicate user needs to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the growth of the design team by participating in hiring and mentoring.
Requirements
  • 5-9 years of experience in UX-related areas, including user research and interaction design.
  • Critical thinking and collaboration skills, with experience working in a customer-facing role.
  • Expert-level knowledge of user journeys, information architecture, interaction design, and prototyping.
  • Knowledge of design thinking and practical applications.
  • Experience with planning and executing user research, including qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Excellent communication, articulation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and think creatively to solve problems.
  • Exceptional portfolio of design work.
  • Expert-level experience with Figma, and knowledge of Sketch, Miro, Figjam, and other relevant tools.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of design systems, including building and maintaining one.
  • Hands-on experience with user research and usability testing.
  • Basic knowledge of visual design and branding.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Invision, and other relevant tools.
