Samuel, a consultant at FED ENGINEERING in the Ile-de-France region, is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Design and Development for a client specializing in medical devices, based in the 95 area.
As a direct member of the Study Office team, you will participate in the development of new production tools and equipment. You will ensure support during the transfer of projects from design to production and provide technical support to other departments as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing robust project briefs to transform complex manual tasks into automated and/or robotic systems
- Proposing and designing mechatronic technical solutions
- Creating digital models, plans, and electrical schematics using dedicated software
- Standardizing designs (electrical, automation, and industrial computing)
- Designing special machines, selecting and sizing components while respecting architectural and integration constraints
- Independently programming automation and robotics software
- Requesting quotes and managing orders with suppliers
- Creating associated technical documentation (3D models, technical plans, user manual, and instructions)
- Conducting commissioning tests and participating in the installation of machines
With a degree equivalent to a Bachelor's degree + 5 in mechanical engineering, automation, mechatronics, or robotics, you have significant experience (minimum 3 years) in a similar role.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in design software (programming, SolidWorks, SEE ELECTRICAL EXPERT, etc.)
- Knowledge of quality standards related to medical devices
- Technical proficiency in English
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team
