The UIMM Usinage Group is seeking a skilled Machinist Technician to join its team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for performing precision machining operations using conventional or computer-controlled machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of machining equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and precision
- Collaborate with production team members to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in machining or a related field
- Strong understanding of machining principles and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
