Commodities Strategist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acheteur Facility Management Expert to join our team at DAHER. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for managing the overall performance of our financial and operational commodities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for assigned commodities, including long-term framework agreements and Group contracts.
• Manage the supplier panel at Group level, ensuring the creation of new Group suppliers and negotiating long-term framework agreements for strategic suppliers.
• Monitor commodity performance, ensuring compliance with the Purchasing Productivity Plan and adapting actions as necessary.
• Present regular updates to the Group Purchasing Committee on purchasing performance and actions contained in the Purchasing Productivity Plan.
• Collaborate with Non-Production Regional Buyers/purchasing experts to ensure implementation of the Purchasing Productivity Plan and develop complementary actions when necessary.
• Carry out consultations and draft contracts for products and services purchased at Group level.
• Validate purchase orders in accordance with delegated authority levels.

Requirements

• 3 years' experience in purchasing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
