Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Elevator Maintenance Technician to join our team at Otis College of Art and Design. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our elevators and escalators, and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on elevators and escalators to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify and address any issues or defects.
• Collaborate with our engineering team to develop and implement maintenance plans and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns.
• Work safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in elevator maintenance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, and ability to troubleshoot and repair complex issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, and to lift and move heavy equipment.
