Project Overview

Our company has partnered with TERZEO, a joint venture between CLAMENS and TERSEN (a subsidiary of Colas IDFN), to establish a recycling and depollution center on a former industrial site. As part of this project, a 30-hectare compensation area has been created, subject to regulatory guidelines that dictate the necessary amnesties and protected species to be preserved.

Job Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of the center director and in collaboration with an ecological study bureau, conduct daily surveys and record observations of the site's biodiversity.
• Analyze 13 years of inventory data to produce a statistical study on the evolution of species quantity, diversity, and rarity in response to site changes.
• Develop a comprehensive report detailing the site's biodiversity dynamics, highlighting key periods and characteristics for potential replication or maintenance.
• Identify migratory species and propose strategies to sedentarize them.
• Recommend improvements to existing compensation measures and design new ones for dedicated areas.
• Participate in site work, if feasible, to ensure the successful implementation of proposed measures.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (BAC +5 level).
• Strong background in ornithology, with a keen interest in ecological research.

Working Conditions

• Duration: 4 to 6 months.
• Location: ISLES LES VILLENOY (77).
• Valid driving license (Permis B) required.
