Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Operations Engineer to lead our Material Flow Optimization (MFO) Process initiatives in developing and delivering next-generation, world-class sortation and transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate efforts to develop optimal solutions and processes for the sortation and transportation network through material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time.
  3. Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors, and vendors.
  4. Effective communication skills, ability to execute the vision, detailed roadmap, and specific technical solutions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
  • Experience working with and managing third-party vendors
  • Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing
