About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Trade Marketing Specialist to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's indirect procurement function, with a focus on trade marketing materials, trade fairs and events, printed materials, and other marketing BTL categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and increase working capital through payment terms.
- Work with business functional leaders to align on needs and drive sourcing activities.
- Coordinate with regional procurement managers on corporate initiatives and provide guidance and direction on matters within the commodities serviced.
- Support the development and implementation of sourcing best practices through creation of knowledge documents.
- Lead projects and work cross-functionally with regional/global teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics or Engineering, preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or a related function, with a focus on indirect/services sourcing and/or retail/marketing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of management in all regions.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in Italian and French a plus.
