Electrical Construction Manager – Paris, France

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage site safety in conjunction with the Safety Advisor, attending weekly safety meetings and distributing information to the site team.
- Oversee site QA in conjunction with the QA Manager.
- Coordinate project schedules with the Project Team and Project Manager.
- Manage on-site activities with other trades, ensuring smooth coordination.
- Assist in managing project costs, including labour, materials, plant and equipment, variations, valuations, and day-to-day operations.
- Track sub-contractor progress against schedule and manpower levels, ensuring weekly minute meetings.
- Manage the snagging system, returning weekly punch lists where applicable.
- Issue direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours to the time administrator for central tracking.
- Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
- Participate in system walkdowns, both internal and client.
- Close out all punch items and ensure correct revision drawings are used for construction activities.
- Implement a weekly look ahead, coordinating with other trades.
- Issue internal weekly progress reports.
- Schedule and track material deliveries to match the project schedule.
- Record weekly safety statistics and project labour projections.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of the design and construction process.
- Ability to control and manage people and programs.
- Trade background or relevant third-level qualification.
- Proven record of coordinating and managing large projects.
- Minimum 5 years as an Electrical Construction Manager.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.
- Computer skills – Windows, MS Office, and MS Project.
