Position OverviewThe Logistics Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of transportation operations. This position involves overseeing daily logistics activities and ensuring optimal performance in route management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and assign daily transportation routes for drivers.
- Engage in daily Geocoding processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Refine route planning based on insights from previous performance reports.
- Facilitate effective loading operations to ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules to maximize productivity.
- Monitor real-time transportation activities to ensure compliance with schedules.
- Manage return logistics, including addressing any discrepancies.
- Supervise Quality, Safety, and Environmental (QSE) initiatives to uphold standards.
- Provide management with reports on key performance indicators.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative team player.
- Ability to manage stress effectively.
- Proficient in time management.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
- No prior professional experience is necessary.
- Minimum educational requirement: Recent Graduate.
