The Ville de Nîmes is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Childcare Support Specialists. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering a nurturing environment for children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide a warm welcome and ongoing support to children and their families.
- Create an inviting atmosphere that encourages family engagement and communication regarding the child's habits.
- Assist parents in their parenting journey by offering guidance and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to share important information.
- Design and execute engaging activities that cater to the individual rhythms and needs of each child.
- Participate in community events and celebrations organized by the facility.
- Adapt care routines, including feeding and changing, to align with each child's unique pace.
- Work alongside Early Childhood Educators to arrange play areas with appropriate toys and resources that promote autonomy.
- Contribute positively to team dynamics and support the learning of student interns.
- Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care.
- Implement hygiene and safety protocols in accordance with health regulations.
- Maintain a vigilant eye on the child's surroundings, equipment, and activities.
- Conduct regular cleaning and disinfection of equipment as necessary.
- Provide essential nursing care to children.
- Promote the physical and emotional well-being of each child.
- Facilitate the child's smooth transition into group settings.
- Observe and respond to children's behaviors and emotional needs, ensuring they feel secure and nurtured.
- Attend and engage in team meetings led by Early Childhood Educators and other professionals.
- Facilitate a smooth transition from home to childcare settings.
- Adhere to established procedures and protocols.
- Maintain high standards of personal and clothing hygiene.
- Understand and apply hygiene and safety guidelines effectively.
- Utilize first aid techniques when necessary.
- Comprehend child development principles and stimulation activities.
