About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Educator Monitor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing support, well-being, protection, and safety to residents in all aspects of daily life.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the maintenance and development of residents' potential through personalized support and education
• Oversee activities and workshops designed to promote socialization, skill-building, and personal growth
• Participate in facility meetings to discuss resident needs and develop strategies for improvement
• Act as a reference point for implementing individual projects and initiatives
• Utilize alternative communication methods to facilitate effective communication with residents and staff
• Collaborate with families and various partners to ensure a comprehensive support system
• Consistently demonstrate compassionate behavior and a commitment to delivering high-quality care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A State Diploma of Educator Monitor or a DUT in Social Careers
• Prior experience working with individuals with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Familiarity with educational tools and strategies for individuals with ASD
• A creative approach to tasks and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
