Think Global Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insolvency Senior Manager/Associate Director to join our esteemed client, a leading firm specializing in fiduciary and insolvency services within the Caribbean region.

This unique opportunity presents an exciting chance for a dynamic professional to step into a significant leadership role within a thriving business. Reporting directly to the Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the firm's insolvency and restructuring practice forward.

About the Role

This position has become available due to the firm's continued growth and strategic succession planning. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and taking appointments in complex insolvency and restructuring engagements.
  • Growing and mentoring a team of direct reports, ensuring high standards and development.
  • Identifying market opportunities and proactively expanding the business.
  • Managing multi-jurisdictional cases with a focus on contentious and cross-border matters.
  • Taking a hands-on approach in court-driven insolvency processes, including significant motion practice.
Key Responsibilities

As the right-hand to the Director, with potential for succession into the lead role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking on and leading high-stakes insolvency cases, often with an international scope.
  • Driving business growth through client development, market analysis, and networking.
  • Overseeing a team and fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Significant experience in insolvency and restructuring, ideally with a focus on cross-border engagements.
  • A strong entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to identify and develop business opportunities.
  • At least 6 years' experience in insolvency within a practice environment, with experience leading teams and engagements.
  • Experience of working cross border offshore appointments
  • JIEB qualification (or equivalent) is preferred.
