As the Creator Engagement Manager for France, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance creator involvement with the Spotify platform. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring that creators view Spotify as their premier choice for distribution and audience expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance Audience Interaction: As a vital member of the team, you will leverage Spotify's diverse creator and monetization tools to boost audience interaction for a selected group of creators, identifying the most suitable products that align with each creator's unique needs and opportunities.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: You will cultivate relationships with prominent video creators and their representatives, guiding them from onboarding to becoming enthusiastic advocates for our creator tools. Developing a robust network within the local creator and video sector is essential for nurturing and expanding these partnerships.
  • Maintain Creator Connections: Being approachable and connected with creators is crucial. You will empathize with their needs, keep them informed about the latest updates and offerings, and share valuable insights about the video and podcast industry to support their success. Staying abreast of industry trends and committing to continuous learning is a fundamental aspect of your role.
  • Collaborative Partner Management: You will work closely with various teams at Spotify, including programming, marketing, analytics, and operations, to support partners and provide strategic value. Effective collaboration and coordination with these teams will ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives.
  • Event Planning and Engagement: You will assist in organizing creator engagement events in the market, such as conferences, recordings, and press events. These gatherings will offer creators valuable opportunities to connect, learn, and showcase their work.

Candidate Profile

  • Industry Experience: A proven history of success in engaging or managing video creators, with knowledge and skills relevant to the local landscape.
  • Connection Building: Demonstrated ability to foster strong industry relationships within the creator and video market, showcasing your capability to nurture and establish new partnerships.
  • Local Insight with Global Perspective: A deep understanding of the global creator landscape, alongside the nuances of the local industry, allowing you to adapt strategies to address local creators' challenges.
  • Business Development Expertise: Previous experience in business development, particularly in product advocacy with a focus on achieving results. Your ability to convert data-driven insights into effective partnership strategies will set you apart.
  • Proactive Leadership: A proactive individual who can take initiative and lead through influence, excelling in engaging and connecting with creators.
  • Relevant Experience: Prior experience in social and video platform management or creator relations is highly regarded, enabling a smooth transition into this role.
  • Relationship Management Skills: Exceptional ability to build relationships and collaborate with various functions at all organizational levels, crucial for driving successful partnerships.

Location: This role will be based in France.
