WASTEWATER TREATMENT TECHNICIAN (M/F)
Position OverviewThis is a permanent role based in a dynamic environment focused on wastewater management.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Wastewater Treatment Technician, you will report directly to the department supervisor. After completing the necessary training, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the operational efficiency of wastewater treatment facilities and pumping stations.
- Monitoring the functionality and cleanliness of equipment, performing necessary adjustments and corrective actions as well as conducting flow and pollution assessments.
- Diagnosing issues related to electrical, hydraulic, or automation systems within treatment facilities.
- Executing minor repairs and troubleshooting tasks as needed.
- Maintaining accurate logs of equipment operations and site visits, including actions taken and reports on any breakdowns.
- Supporting maintenance teams during routine inspections of facilities.
- Contributing to the preparation of operational reports and evaluations.
- Participating in the planning of preventive maintenance activities in accordance with established contracts.
The ideal candidate will possess a technical background in fields such as electrotechnics, maintenance, or water management. Experience is valued, but we welcome candidates eager to enter the environmental and sanitation sectors. Proficiency in electromechanics is essential. Some travel within the operational area may be required.
Your ability to work independently, attention to detail, and teamwork skills will be crucial in contributing to our mission of prioritizing both people and the environment.
