About the Internship:
This internship presents a unique opportunity to engage in the launch of Balmain Beauty across the EMEA region, offering insights into the luxury and beauty sectors while collaborating with a diverse and dynamic team in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Marketing Assistance:
- Support the Product Marketing Manager in coordinating product categories, including assortment management, launch protocols, and the delivery of lab samples to affiliates.
- Oversee the market sample process at a regional level, ensuring effective product delivery and communication between affiliates and global supply teams.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of competitive product launches and subcategories within the fragrance sector to uncover opportunities and provide actionable insights.
- Perform in-store execution checks through visits to both Balmain and competitor locations.
- Contribute to the development of presentations for regional meetings with brand teams and retailers.
- Serve as a direct point of contact for local teams in EMEA affiliates, addressing product marketing inquiries.
Reporting:
- Create a Launch Report template to consolidate brand launch performance data from affiliates and derive insights.
- Develop a Monthly Retail Sales Tracker to compile sell-out data by affiliate and provide analytical insights.
- Conduct monthly market analysis of new product developments to assess the Balmain brand's performance.
Qualifications:
About You:
Educational Background:
Higher Education (Bac + 5) from a business school or university.
Experience:
A minimum of two internships in relevant fields, with a strong interest in the cosmetics industry and sensitivity to the luxury market. Previous marketing experience is preferred.
Language Skills:
Fluency in English is essential, along with proficiency in French. Knowledge of additional European languages is advantageous.
Additional Skills:
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with panel data tools (e.g., NPD) is a plus.
- Resourceful and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, curious, and capable of working independently.
- Adaptable to changing priorities and able to perform well under pressure.
- Possess a business and consumer-first mindset, with a keen sense of analysis and synthesis, and be an excellent team player.
