Job Summary:
The Field Application Specialist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is a key member of our team, responsible for providing technical support to the commercial organization. This includes training and ongoing support of Microbiology equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to support pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, technical discussions, and customer training.
- Provide on-site or remote training to laboratory staff on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of microbiology diagnostic instruments.
- Assist customers in setting up and optimizing laboratory workflows for efficient and accurate microbiology testing.
- Conduct product installations, validations, and performance verifications at customer sites.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of clinical microbiology principles, techniques, and laboratory practices.
- Excellent communication (including English) and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
