Financial Management
As of the latest reporting period, the Group manages assets totaling €34 billion, with over 80% classified under SFDR article 8 or 9.
Position Overview
Sienna Investment Managers is undergoing a transformation in its financial structure by establishing a dedicated accounting team in Paris, responsible for consolidation and accounting oversight.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be pivotal in the preparation of comprehensive financial statements in accordance with IFRS for multiple entities, as well as developing an IFRS consolidated reporting package for GBL Capital.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the external accounting firm in Paris on all fiscal and accounting matters.
- Collaborating closely with the Head of Consolidation based in Luxembourg to enhance consolidation processes.
- Working in partnership with the Head of Finance located in Paris.
- Contributing to a vibrant team environment that fosters positive change within the finance organization.
Specific Duties
Your tasks will encompass:
- Assisting in the formulation of consolidation guidelines in conjunction with controlling and accounting teams.
- Managing and directing the external accounting teams for Group entities within the French jurisdiction.
- Coordinating data collection efforts with relevant entities.
- Reviewing and critically analyzing information received from Group entities for consolidation purposes.
- Supporting the annual Goodwill impairment tests.
- Preparing audit documentation and liaising with external auditors.
- Contributing to the consolidated reporting package of GBL Capital, including the development of a consolidated cash flow statement and necessary disclosures.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience, ideally within the Asset Management sector or a leading audit firm, with a strong emphasis on financial consolidation, reporting, and IFRS accounting.
- Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements.
- The ability to effectively manage and lead an external accounting team.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Proficient Excel and analytical skills.
