Department Overview
The Special Operations team is responsible for blade maintenance and significant component repairs within wind turbines.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the acting supervisor for maintenance operations in the field. Oversee the daily tasks of technicians to ensure adherence to operational standards. Conduct advanced maintenance on wind turbine blades. Record turbine issues and update the company database as necessary. Meet objectives related to quality, cost, and service delivery. Follow safety protocols and procedures diligently. Prepare daily reports and maintain high-quality service documentation. Provide training and mentorship to technicians and operators. Assist the supervisor in evaluating personnel and developing skills. Communicate with clients regarding completed and upcoming maintenance services.Qualifications
A technical degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred. Familiarity with composite materials is essential. Proficient in technical English. Competent in using MS-Office applications.Essential Skills
Ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships. Act as a role model within the team. Significant experience in the composites sector, ideally with Vestas. Strong troubleshooting and training capabilities. Exhibit teamwork and leadership qualities. Commitment to safety, quality, and ongoing improvement. Maintain a positive demeanor towards clients. Excellent communication skills in both the local language and English. Act as an ambassador for quality and safety. A valid driver's license is required. Team-oriented mindset.
