Position OverviewAs our Defence sector expands, we are seeking a motivated and dynamic Quantity Surveyor.
Role Details:
Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Flexible working arrangements available.
Hours: 37 hours per week
Sector: Nuclear and Defence
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer contracts for ongoing agreements, including management and issuance as directed by the Commercial Manager.
- Provide commercial insights to Contract Leads.
- Ensure project timelines are adhered to by the team, managing CEMAR processes.
- Handle payment applications and general contract communications.
- Submit programme and forecast documentation as required.
- Manage change requests and early warnings.
- Support bids for new contracts.
- Oversee cost control and reporting activities.
- Assist in weekly and monthly project progress meetings.
- Coordinate with Client CEMAR Superuser for access and delegation queries.
- Engage with the Client's commercial team for inquiries and lessons learned.
Project Interfaces:
- Collaborate with Contract Leads, Finance, Cost Engineering, and project control teams as necessary.
- Engage with Client Commercial and Project Managers as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in NEC contract administration, preferably with NEC4 Professional Service Contracts.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated accuracy and compliance with contracts.
- Experience with CEMAR is advantageous.
Security clearance will be required for this position.
