Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks seasoned and enthusiastic technologists who blend deep technical knowledge with strong interpersonal abilities. In this role, you will collaborate with some of the largest Automotive and Manufacturing enterprises to design highly scalable, adaptable, and robust cloud infrastructures that solve business challenges and promote the adoption of AWS services.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted technical consultant to clients, comprehending their business objectives and technological hurdles to create tailored solutions.
  • Facilitate discussions to shape a client's long-term technology vision, advising on the balance between immediate solutions and sustainable, scalable architectures.
  • Architect comprehensive solutions by leveraging both technical skills and business insight, fostering agreement across various teams to deliver effective outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to expedite implementation through reusable components and parallel workflows.
  • Share expertise by producing technical materials such as sample code, presentations, and workshops to illustrate best practices and educate clients.
  • Propel product innovation by collecting client feedback, translating requirements into clear specifications, and collaborating with product teams throughout the development process.
  • Address complex technical challenges through thorough root cause analysis, benefiting both clients and internal teams.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, talent recruitment and development, team consensus building, and mentoring junior solutions architects.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
  • Background in designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
  • Experience in IT development or consulting within the software or internet sectors.
  • Expertise in migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with AWS technologies from a development and operations perspective.
