The Solar Prospecting Project Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing new solar energy development opportunities, managing feasibility studies, and ensuring successful land negotiations and stakeholder engagement for project development. This role requires strong technical knowledge, including proficiency with GIS tools (QGIS) and project management software (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with local land agents and business partners.
- Negotiate contracts with external consultants.
- Handle commercial and legal negotiations to finalize contracts.
- Manage local outreach efforts and community engagement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, renewable energy, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in solar project prospecting, renewable energy, real estate, or industrial development.
- French fluency is required, with English proficiency preferred.
