Job Title: Quality Assurance Lead
Overview:
The Quality Assurance Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Quality Management System within the organization. This position is essential for ensuring the ongoing compliance with the necessary certifications that support the growth and development of the company. The individual will report to senior management regarding the effectiveness of the Quality system and identify areas for enhancement. Acting as the primary Quality assurance liaison, this role involves collaboration with both internal teams and external clients to uphold quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the maintenance of relevant quality certifications
- Assist in the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives related to quality standards
- Participate in the formulation, execution, and upkeep of the Quality policy
- Design quality assurance strategies tailored to client specifications
- Oversee quality assurance evaluations
- Facilitate process and management assessments, evaluate risks and discrepancies, recognize changes affecting the quality framework, and strategize improvement measures
- Create, revise, and distribute documentation to ensure uniformity (quality manual, procedures, forms, and guidelines)
- Organize and support certification evaluations, addressing any non-conformities and opportunities for enhancement
- Lead client evaluations, addressing any non-conformities and opportunities for enhancement
- Plan and execute internal evaluations
- Manage non-conformities, client feedback, and drive system enhancements through corrective and preventive measures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance or a related field
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in a comparable position within an industrial setting
- Familiarity with quality standards and regulations
- General knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Expertise in gap analysis techniques
- Technical aptitude
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
