This role is part of our sales team, reporting to the Department Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for merchandising all fresh food products in the store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure compliance with company procedures
• Display products in an attractive and organized manner, following company guidelines
• Participate in sales promotions and marketing initiatives
• Label and price products accurately and efficiently
• Monitor and maintain the quality and freshness of perishable products
• Remove unsold or damaged products from the sales floor
• Restock shelves and prepare for inventory counts
• Cut and package products as needed, following proper food safety procedures

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and concerns
• Offer product recommendations and sales advice to customers
• Process customer transactions and handle returns or exchanges

Store Maintenance:

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor and stockroom
• Dispose of waste and recyclables properly

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A CAP/BEP/BAC Pro diploma in fishmongery, with at least one year of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
