We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Blockchain Ventures team as a Senior Back-End Engineer, Staking. This is a critical role in building financial and crypto-native products, services, and APIs.
Key Responsibilities- Staking Platform Development: Build and expand support for multiple networks and dynamic validator sets on our custodial staking platform.
- API Integration: Develop and integrate APIs from new and existing services to our various product applications.
- Engineering Team Collaboration: Work with a dedicated engineering team to apply the highest standards and ship secure and performant systems.
- Blockchain Interaction: Work in the core of Blockchain Ventures' solution, interacting directly with multiple blockchains and internal services.
- Open Source Technologies: Work extensively with open source technologies (Docker, Kafka, PostgreSQL).
- Security Focus: Ensure security is at the forefront of everything you do.
- Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Work within interdisciplinary teams to continually deliver the highest quality products to our users.
- System Optimization: Optimise existing systems for scalability, extensibility, and performance while building out reusable, modular code for use across Blockchain Ventures' products.

- Motivation and Self-Drive: You are highly motivated, self-driven, and passionate about cryptocurrencies.
- Blockchain Knowledge: You know how blockchain systems work, preferably having worked closely with at least one.
- Cosmos-Based Blockchain Networks: Experience with Cosmos-based blockchain networks is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: You find your way around when confronted with a novel problem not many people faced before.
- Curiosity and Learning: You possess an innate curiosity, know multiple programming languages, and are a strong advocate for the best engineering practices.
