**Job Summary**
At Selby Jennings, we are seeking a highly experienced Compliance Advisory Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Global Markets Compliance team, you will play a critical role in providing expert compliance advice, guidance, and support to our business stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide objective and independent advice to our business stakeholders on compliance risks, including Conduct risks, conflicts of interests, Market Abuse, outsourcing, and other regulatory matters.
- Offer expert guidance and insight on current, emerging, and horizon risks, as well as risk and control management activity, including RCAs, control monitoring, and associated risk management activity.
- Act as a key point of contact for Regulatory Affairs' matters, supporting regulatory engagements and developments of our business, and ensuring the ongoing maintenance of our Regulatory Mapping activities.
- Deliver implementable policies and support the business with implementation, actively monitoring compliance with policies and robustly challenging and escalating non-compliance as required.
- Develop and deliver regular training and awareness sessions to staff on compliance matters within France and Continental Europe countries.
- Create and maintain a compliance and Conduct culture where our Compliance function is truly valued and respected.
- Support the governance and reporting work on Global Markets Compliance items.
**Requirements**
- Significant (a minimum of 5-7 years) of prior experience in Compliance or Legal role.
- A high level of knowledge of French and European legal and regulatory requirements, particularly with respect to Markets business.
- A proven track record and experience in overseeing Compliance risk as risk steward.
- Significant level of autonomy.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills (French and English).
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in coordination with executives at all levels.
