Position Overview: In alignment with Biltmore Health Services Inc.'s commitment to operational excellence, this role is pivotal in facilitating the execution of the Global Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Strategy. The incumbent will provide technical expertise and guidance to regional and site management across all Biltmore Health Services operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee HSE support, programs, and initiatives across various regions, ensuring global coordination on diverse HSE topics including Biosafety, Radiation Safety, Environmental Management, and Process Safety.
- Develop and maintain open and trustworthy relationships with regulatory authorities, the public, and business stakeholders.
- Establish and uphold comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environment management systems that assist line managers in complying with local legislation and global standards.
- Coordinate the implementation and execution of HSE procedures, standards, and policies aimed at preventing accidents and promoting disease prevention while protecting the environment.
- Collect and verify site HSE data for reporting to the global HSE team, ensuring timely escalation of incidents and supporting root cause investigations.
- Manage the risk portfolio effectively, ensuring the implementation of corrective actions and lessons learned from incidents.
- Identify, develop, and retain talent, providing strong succession plans and development opportunities.
- Maintain site policies, regulations, and guidelines to meet statutory and company requirements, while managing the HSE budget and related processes.
- Conduct regular HSE self-inspections and follow-up activities, implementing audit follow-up activities within agreed budgets and timelines.
- Plan, develop, and implement policies and procedures for process safety, risk management, and environmental management.
Essential Skills: Project Management, Operations Management, HSE Management Systems, and Training.
