This role will be responsible for the Global Digital & IT (GDIT) business partnership concerning the digital, Compliance, and Business Ethics sectors. Acting as the primary liaison for these areas, the position entails constructing and executing the GDIT roadmap within their respective domain while ensuring a high standard of service and support for their application portfolio. The role will function within a matrix organization, managing several cross-functional team members.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Serve as the primary liaison and accountable for all facets of business relationships: This role acts as the sole point of contact, an internal consultant, and a trusted advisor for the digital, compliance, and business ethics sectors. The incumbent will engage with senior leadership teams within their domains and across functions, ensuring that GDIT meets or surpasses business expectations for IT services and systems delivered as part of the application portfolio.
- Formulate the Business IT strategy: To cultivate a robust partnership with the business, this role will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement a technology roadmap that unlocks business value within the domain. The incumbent will be expected to present technology roadmaps to the respective leadership teams at a strategic level using business terminology. This role will also act as the escalation point on behalf of the business for any IT services or projects.
- Manage Demand: Acting as a consultant, the incumbent will comprehend the business IT requirements and initiatives for their area of responsibility, develop Business Cases, evaluate the urgency of business needs, and shape the roadmap and demand within the global digital, compliance, and business ethics sectors. They will assist the business in preparing new project requests, helping to articulate the needs in a manner most comprehensible to technology professionals.
- Trusted Advisor: As a trusted advisor for their area, the incumbent will educate stakeholders on industry market trends and introduce new technologies to business leaders that will significantly impact delivering business value. They will continually assess business satisfaction and identify areas for enhancement in the construction, implementation, and support of the application portfolio. Additionally, they will manage vendors and external partners on behalf of the business.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar Business Partnering role.
- Proven experience in conducting business analysis and soliciting, understanding, and verifying business requirements, preferably in digital and/or compliance.
- Ability to articulate complex business requirements to technology teams.
- In-depth understanding of digital and compliance within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in facilitating change management involving business processes and organizational transformation.
- Capability to work transversally and engage cross-functional teams.
- Build strategic networks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
