We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our PSG IT team in Bourgoin, France. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality IT services to our site colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the IT site services function, ensuring timely delivery of business infrastructure, network, and IIOT support.
- Provide direct technical support to site colleagues, addressing hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades, network improvements, and software implementations.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Resolve technical issues related to software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity.
- Embody the concept of Technology, Security, and Quality.
- Point of contact for local IT service incidents and mentor site IT teams.
- Develop strong partnerships with IT Shared Services teams and other PSG IT colleagues.
- Collaborate with business colleagues to understand support needs and develop effective partnerships.
- Collaborate with the PSG IT Ops & Services team to develop and align IT support processes globally.
- Use ITIL and process improvement methodologies to drive improvements in IT processes and IT support services.
- Champion innovation by demonstrating technologies used at other Pharma Services/Thermofisher sites.
- Main contact to support site capital projects and act as IT Domain Authority for new or existing IT systems.
- Collaborate with Global Infrastructure Services and Applications to implement company standards.
- Ensure an appropriate mix of internal and external user support resources.
- Work with site to develop local technology strategy and enforce objectives, budgets, and work plans.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience in leading a multi-lingual and multi-cultural end user support function.
- Experience working in a regulated environment, with a solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Computers Systems Validation (CSV).
- Prior experience with GMP and CSV, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Broad knowledge of application software, desktop support, and IT security.
- Capable of working in a team structure, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communicator inside and outside the organization.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment, inclusive of conflict resolution.
- Capacity to make decisions or recommendations based on area of assigned responsibility.
- Fluent French and English, written and verbal communication skills.
