The Investor Engagement Officer is responsible for executing on the market strategy for their region through initiating and building relationships with leads and investors with the goal to increase investments and reduce churn.
Through customer-centricity and a good understanding of Oikocredit's offerings, the Investor Engagement Officer creates a compelling proposition for (potential) investors.
The Investor Engagement Officer uses different channels of communication to engage with (potential) investors, such as personal interactions, and organizes and/or participates in events which attract target groups of Oikocredit.
Main Responsibilities- Lead Creation and Conversion: Executes on the market strategy developed by the Marketing Unit, and follows up with leads generated through the digital campaigns.
- Investor Engagement: Creates an account plan which describes the actions to be taken to achieve ambitious yet realistic measurable goals.
- Cross-functional/Stakeholder Collaboration: Works together with relevant stakeholders to ensure customer centricity and optimize client satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement of the Customer Experience: Generates initiatives to improve the customer experience and customer satisfaction.
- University degree in communication, social sciences, or other relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales/customer engagement, preferably in the financial industry.
- Knowledge of or ability to appreciate the regulatory boundaries of retail investments, impact investing in general, and strong affinity with sustainability.
- A results-driven, commercial approach with excellent communication skills and empathy for the customer.
- Is used to working with measurable goals and customer KPIs.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders while keeping an eye on goals.
- Fluency in English and French.
Commercially skilled, Outbound calling, Customer centricity, Problem analysis and assessment, Initiative (shared Oikocredit competence), Market orientation, Cooperation (shared Oikocredit competence), Building and maintaining networks and relations, Verbal communication and presentation, Planning and organizing.
