About the Position
This role involves working as a key member of the Safety and Functional Safety (SFS) team, responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of software systems. Your primary duties will include:
- Planning and executing safety assessment activities for software operations
- Analyzing the software development cycle of industrial companies, focusing on traceability of requirements, code compliance with specifications, tests, and testing methods, as well as adherence to the CENELEC EN 50128 standard
- Documenting the results of your software safety assessment activities in comprehensive evaluation reports
- Reviewing the work of your colleagues through peer reviews
- Ensuring effective technical interface with industrial companies and contributing to the coordination of the SFS team in projects
- Reporting to management and the project team on issues, deadlines, and budget
Required Profile
To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in Industrial Informatics, Secure Software Development, or Software Safety Engineering applied to the software field, and ideally at least 2 years of experience in the field. Your strengths should include:
- Proficiency in methods and tools for developing embedded software
- Proficiency in languages, ideally those used by the railway industry: C, ADA, SCADE, B
- Knowledge of railway industry standards related to safety, particularly the EN 50128 standard
- Experience in system safety, allowing you to understand the needs ultimately reflected in the software
- Rigor and critical thinking in your activities
- Autonomy and adaptability to work on different projects or systems
- Oral and written communication skills favoring teamwork
This role offers a permanent contract with a competitive salary based on experience, a minimum of 42k EUR gross annual, excluding bonuses. Additional benefits include career advancement opportunities in other roles, including international subsidiaries, and a comprehensive benefits package.
