Senior Director of Technical Operations

The Senior Director of Technical Operations will oversee all vehicle maintenance, materials, and out-of-service operations for Hertz European markets. This includes managing the processes and activities of the maintenance staff, as well as overseeing all vehicle repairs for all Hertz Business Segments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies that align with the strategic objectives of the Maintenance plan
- Collaborate with Country General Managers, Fleet Operations Leadership, and International leaders to ensure consistent management of systems and processes
- Oversee all functions related to Asset Management (Inventory Control, Materials, Systems, etc.) within the region
- Minimize all cost-related to vehicle maintenance and service while ensuring the highest quality at the most efficient costs/revenue to the company
- Ensure timely and quality mechanical and body damage repairs of vehicles during their lifecycle
- ~8 years' experience in managing maintenance functions in automotive, aviation, or similar area
- ~ Bachelor's in business preferred
- ~ Moderate proficiency with Microsoft suite
- ~ Understanding of Maintenance manuals such as the Mitchell Catalog preferred
- ~ Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
- ~ Ability to influence

- ~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
