This role supports the Ryder Continuous Improvement culture by applying data-driven methods to enhance operations. The Industrial Engineer will identify and drive change through process improvements, leveraging data analytics and engineering methodologies to deliver higher performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze data to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
- Develop and manage continuous improvement plans to drive value for customers.
- Manage and complete CI and steady-state engineering projects to achieve business results.
- Coach employees in CI, Quality Assurance, and Lean principles.
- Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen Events to achieve operational excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain and 5+ years of experience in Warehousing, Transportation, or Manufacturing.
- Microsoft Office Suite skills with emphasis on Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Data visualization and database programming skills.
- Functional experience in developing and managing CI projects.
