As Head of Maintenance and Operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning and safety of our department's infrastructure. You will lead a team responsible for the deployment, monitoring, and management of essential equipment, as well as overseeing the maintenance and operation of our road network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance: You will oversee equipment surveillance, develop and manage maintenance budgets, supervise maintenance operations, contribute to new projects, and prioritize safety protocols within the department.
  • Operations: Your responsibilities will encompass managing operational files, overseeing police orders, updating operational procedures, and supervising winter road maintenance activities.
  • Road Safety: You will develop and implement road safety strategies, represent the department in relevant forums, and conduct comprehensive safety audits to ensure a secure environment for all users of our roads.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of road infrastructure, traffic management systems, and information technology.
