About the Job

As part of a small team of specialists at a constructor of energy and railway equipment, you will develop the middleware between an FPGA and an ARM processor in a control and command system for a new-generation protection relay. Your software will process real-time measurement data from 15 analog channels and over 100 digital channels, reformating it for the algorithm detecting faults in a circuit breaker. You will also develop a data recorder function that stores recent data in memory in case of fault detection.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze system specifications
  • Develop C code for real-time middleware processing data from 15 analog and over 100 digital channels

  • Perform validation tests for the software
  • Update technical documentation using Doxygen
Requirements
  • Proficiency in low-level C programming and real-time development
  • Knowledge of Linux embedded systems and Xenomaï
