Job Title: Senior Property Accountant
Company: Le Grand & Associates specializes in premium rental solutions for expatriates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations related to property management, including rent invoicing, collection, reminders, entry of invoices, processing of bills, payments to owners, and handling of security deposits.
- Engage in regular communication with tenants and property owners to resolve inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
- Conduct utility reconciliations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage suspense accounts.
- Prepare tax filings and coordinate with clients' accounting firms.
- Maintain an accurate mandate register.
- Implement leases using 'Krier' accounting software, with plans to transition to a new system in the near future.
- Export financial data from 'Krier' to internal systems for verification purposes.
- Address discrepancies between accounting software and internal records.
- Assist tenants with various issues, including water damage, electrical concerns, and appliance malfunctions.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with a focus on mandate accounting preferred.
- Experience with 'Krier' software is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to maintain effective and transparent interactions with clients.
- Detail-oriented, diplomatic, and a critical thinker with a proactive mindset.
- Fluent in French, with proficiency in English.
- Energetic, analytical, and comfortable working with numbers.
- A collaborative team player.
Compensation: A competitive remuneration package based on experience, including a bi-annual operational excellence bonus, unlimited business referral bonuses, a profit-sharing scheme, meal vouchers, and full reimbursement of transportation costs.
This position requires in-person attendance.
