Job Description

AXA Partners is seeking a highly experienced Regional CFO NAUKI to lead the financial function of our organization, which comprises approximately 170 employees across 10 countries.

The Regional CFO NAUKI will work in partnership with the regional management team to develop and implement plans and initiatives aimed at increasing the company's profitability while ensuring financial compliance with local regulations.

As a member of the global finance leadership team, the Regional CFO NAUKI will contribute to the management and transformation of AXA Partners' global finance function.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Strategy
    • Collaborate with the central finance team to set financial objectives (revenue, profit, RoE, cash, etc.) for the region and develop strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Ensure the achievement of financial objectives for the region and communicate proactively with the central finance team on budget execution, highlighting risks and opportunities, and proposing and implementing risk mitigation measures.
    • Lead initiatives to optimize productivity in the region.
    • Monitor the financial activity of the CLP in the region.
  • Financial Compliance
    • Approve financial and tax information published by the region's legal entities.
    • Ensure the effectiveness of the internal control framework for financial reporting.
    • Manage relationships with external auditors and other key external stakeholders (tax authorities, regulators, etc.).
  • Financial Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage financial teams in the region to ensure effective performance and alignment with objectives.
    • Direct financial processes: recruitment, replacements, talent management, succession planning, retention, evaluations.
    • Contribute to the global finance leadership team in managing and transforming the finance function.
Requirements
  • Degree in accounting or commerce.
  • Significant experience in leading financial functions and/or strategic roles in a large international organization.
  • Experience in a multicultural environment with proven skills in managing multi-site teams.
  • Technical skills such as financial planning, accounting, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of the insurance sector and local markets, regulatory environment, and competition.
  • Ability to analyze problems and make decisions based on accurate and timely information.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders within their functional domain, the non-financial community, and the Excom.
  • Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).
