Schroders Capital Hotel is a leading private equity player in the European hotel investment market, with a 20-year track record and a team of experienced professionals. We are looking for an analytical and enthusiastic candidate to join our Hotel Investment division in Paris for a 6-month internship.
About the Role
As an Investment Analyst Intern, you will assist the team in the origination and execution of deals, including market research, Excel analysis, and financial modeling. You will also be involved in the due diligence process and the preparation of board presentations for investment committee, investors, and banks.
Responsibilities
- Origination: Conduct market research, create and manage financial models, and maintain comprehensive research files.
- Execution: Assist in the due diligence process, prepare negotiation with sellers/buyers, and be involved in the preparation of board presentations.
Requirements
- Student in a top-tier Business School, Engineering School, or University.
- Previous internships in Finance and/or Real Estate and genuine interest in Real Estate/Hotel industry.
- Highly analytical with excellent Excel skills specific to financial modeling and P&L analysis.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and highly ambitious with excellent academic credentials.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a very good aptitude to work with Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent French and English language skills.
