Position Summary

We are seeking a Neutronic Studies Engineer to enhance our Digital Simulation competence center. This role encompasses advanced scientific computing, modeling, code engineering (including design, development, maintenance, and high-performance computing), and the analysis of complex physical phenomena across various domains such as mechanics, geomechanics, fluid dynamics, atomic engineering, and space mechanics.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Conduct studies that involve the development of computational methods, transient analyses, uncertainty assessments, and sensitivity evaluations.
  • Contribute to the advancement of digital simulation tools and software integration.
  • Prepare and present reports to your supervisor.
Candidate Profile:

Who Are You?
You hold a Master's degree in a relevant discipline and possess prior experience in neutronics and reactor physics.

Your Expertise:
  • Familiarity with computational codes such as APOLLO2, CRONOS2, and TRIPOLI4.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Fortran, C++, and Python.
  • Experience with ESOPE/LU or GIBIANE languages.
  • A strong passion for scientific research, particularly in the nuclear sector.
  • Recognized for your effective communication skills and analytical mindset.
