Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled Pricing Manager to join our team at Getaround, a leading carsharing platform. As a Pricing Manager, you will play a critical role in maximizing long-term revenue on our marketplace, ensuring that drivers, owners, and Getaround are happy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to ensure total price competitiveness, financial interest for owners, and profitability and growth of Getaround marketplace revenue.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive environment, and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Data Science, to drive revenue growth and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of commercial policies, such as extension policy, commissions policy, and fees, to ensure they are acceptable to all marketplace parties.
  • Communicate pricing strategies and policies to internal stakeholders and external partners.

Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in pricing/revenue management, with a strong understanding of data and marketing aspects of pricing and yield management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and collaborate with data scientists.
  • Knowledge of database query languages (SQL) and/or data visualization tools (Tableau, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with pricing at a marketplace is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
