About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Forvia-Faurecia Headquarters in Nanterre. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our corporate departments.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for our corporate departments, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Participate in the preparation of the actual reporting, budget, forecast, and SP process for the HQ scope.
- Analyze variances between budget/forecast and actual results, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement cost reduction actions for the HQ scope and lead cost reduction projects.
- Implement efficient reporting and performance analysis tools for HQ functions and departments.
- Internal Control for Nanterre HQ, including animating the internal control process and being the main contact point for external audit and internal control.
- Facilitate the purchasing process for your scope, including PR validation in Ariba.
- Main contact with Nanterre controller based in Controlling Support Platform in Portugal, supervising closing tasks (invoices, accruals, reporting).
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of professional experience in Controlling or a similar corporate position.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, or a master's degree in Finance or Controlling.
- Experience working in an international and diverse environment.
- Ability to interact with C-level executives in the Headquarters.
- Autonomy and problem-solving oriented.
- Team management and ability to interact and perform in a Matrix-type organization.
- Skilled in SAP Finance and Controlling solutions (ERP, Ariba, Concur, BW) and consolidation tools (Oracle).
- Process transformation mindset and tool improvement ability.
- Rigorous, flexible, autonomous, and reliable.
- Minimum bi-lingual (English required).
- Work travels to be expected (Portugal).
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
