Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our Data, Software, and DevOps team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining backend systems for interactive web applications, testing and refactoring existing code, introducing object-oriented patterns in functional code, and profiling and optimizing Python code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, optimize, update, and deploy software for portfolio management, in-depth analysis of risk models, interactive forms and data visualization, export of outputs adapted to users, monitoring of contracts and associated data, and testing and validation of existing solutions.
  • Maintain the software solution with version management, technical documentation, and programming best practices.
  • Support, test, and correct tools for continuous integration and continuous development (CI/CD), data storage, modularization and containerization of IT solutions, and connection to external and internal APIs.
  • Participate in assessment and definition of user needs, conversion of technical specifications into software development tasks, bug tracking management, software evolution management, choice of technical solutions, discussions with IT partners, improving the skills of technical staff, and managing access and rights of users of internal tools.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of Python and Python API frameworks (FastAPI, Flask).
  • Experience with noSQL/SQL databases.
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Good knowledge of English and fluency in French.
  • Familiarity with production development workflow (code reviews, fast forward git policy, pair coding, SCRUM).
  • From 3-4 years of experience.
