About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced iOS Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in the development and delivery of key features for our users. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for driving results and supporting the strategic direction of Sephora, IT, and the Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and coach members of the team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Responsible for team and feature delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Assist with staffing and resourcing decisions for the team, ensuring that we have the right people with the right skills to deliver our goals.
  • Assist in the generation of technical proposals and cost estimates, ensuring that we are able to deliver our projects within budget.
  • Communicate plans, status, and issues to senior leadership, ensuring that they are informed and able to make informed decisions.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to determine the best way to meet business requirements, ensuring that we are delivering value to our customers.
  • Proactively monitor and improve the technical performance of the app, ensuring that it is stable and secure.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in developing iOS applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience in designing and deploying iOS applications using modern architecture, OOP concepts, data structures, Swift, and other best practices.
  • Previous experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Ability to effectively work with technical and non-technical teammates.
  • Strong attention to detail and the bigger picture.
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Analytical approach to problem-solving with an ability to work at an abstract level.
  • Highly self-motivated, independent, efficient, and able to handle several projects.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with a solid sense for setting priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and other development tools and applications.
What We Offer
  • An annual base salary range of $188,000.00 - $210,000.00.
