Research Internship: SFBI is offering a research internship in bioinformatics to work on a project focused on integrative multi-Omic analysis. The project aims to investigate the impact of climate change on the epigenetics of trees, integrating ecophysiology, biochemistry, genetics, and genomics. The intern will work on analyzing omics data, including methylome, RNAseq, and bacteriome NGS data, using tools such as MIXoMICS and R. The goal is to extract biological interpretations and produce high-quality graphs for publication.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze omics data using bioinformatics tools and statistical analysis
Develop and implement RNAseq analysis pipelines using Nanopore recommendations
Compare candidate genes with methylome data and perform GO enrichment or gene network analyses
Collaborate with specialists in the European network to integrate phenotyping data

Requirements:
Strong background in bioinformatics and statistical analysis
Experience with omics data analysis and R programming
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
