About the Role
As a seasoned EMEA Data Center Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and completion of projects within the EMEA region. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination and Resource Allocation
- Coordinate internal resources and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation to meet project requirements.
2. Project Planning and Documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and documentation to monitor progress and share with clients and staff.
3. On-time Delivery and Budget Management
- Deliver all projects on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust constraints based on financial analysis.
4. Change and Risk Management
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate techniques.
- Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
5. Performance Measurement and Reporting
- Measure performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Track project performance to analyze successful completion of goals.
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
6. Client and Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Meet with clients to clarify project requirements.
- Establish and maintain vendor relationships.
7. Task Delegation and Leadership Development
- Delegate project tasks based on team members' strengths and experience.
- Use and continually develop leadership skills.
8. Continuous Learning and Other Duties
- Attend training and conferences to maintain proficiency.
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience.
- Proven working experience in project management.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
