Lead Accountant, European Operations

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the European financial close, consolidation, and reporting processes, acting as the main liaison for teams across Europe.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reports for the Corporate Controllership division within Europe.
- Assist in the preparation of European disclosures required for regulatory submissions.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing month-end closing procedures and reporting accuracy.
- Support the Technical Accounting team with intricate accounting issues.
- Coordinate finance training sessions and manage contract review processes.
- Work collaboratively with FP&A and business units to offer accounting insights and guidance.
- Engage in projects aimed at system enhancements and process optimization.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in US GAAP accounting principles and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent communication abilities and a strong aptitude for teamwork.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting.
- Professional accounting certification is advantageous.
