YOUR ROLE
You will be part of the Mobility Financial Control team, reporting to the Mobility Global Finance Controller. Mobility is one of Edenred's Business Lines, generating annual revenues exceeding 500M€ and operating in over 15 countries.
You will serve as the primary liaison between headquarters and the Mobility controllers in various countries regarding all matters related to IT expenditures and capital expenditures (Capex). Additionally, you will oversee month-end closing processes and manage the central costs associated with the Mobility Business Line.
Moreover, you will assist the Mobility management team in various financial activities, including monthly business reviews, budgeting, forecasting, and the three-year strategic plan concerning IT and central Business Line costs.
Main responsibilities include:
Management of IT costs and IT Capex: Foster a ROI-driven culture to align with defined Group strategic objectives. Collaborate with the CTO of the Business Line to provide insights into IT spending, facilitating Tech Business Reviews on a bi-monthly or quarterly basis. Assist in establishing a comprehensive IT cost, resource, and Capex monitoring framework for the Business Line entities, enabling tracking of costs per individual projects against forecasts and budgets. Ensure meticulous monitoring of IT expenditures, resources (FTEs), and IT Capex across local, regional, and global levels to maximize ROI and prevent cost duplication. Work alongside Tech Finance teams to provide clarity on chargebacks to various Business Line entities, ensuring optimal efficiency in Group spending and avoiding redundant costs/contracts. Act as the sole point of contact for Tech finance teams, offering insights into IT spending trends. Support different entities in preparing presentations for Investment Committees, acting as the intermediary between stakeholders (Finance, DMS, Global Tech, entities). Management of Central costs for the Business Line: Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure adherence to monthly closing schedules, guaranteeing timely cost reporting. Conduct timely analyses to ensure result accuracy, identifying root causes for discrepancies between budget/forecasts and actual results. As part of the Group's reporting cycle, ensure precise forecasting of central costs for the Business Line. Provide internal stakeholders with visibility into their actual team costs compared to budgets, along with justifications for any variances.YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of experience in management control or finance business partnering roles, preferably within a multinational environment. Strong understanding of Accounting and IFRS standards. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and IT tools. Knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team and navigating a matrix and multicultural environment. Quick learner with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. Ability to challenge and partner with local management teams. Fluency in English and French (both spoken and written) is essential. Strong communication skills, able to transition between high-level perspectives and detailed analyses.EXPECTED START DATE
